Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the Pinterest advertising management application (the "Application") provided by PinAds Lab ("we", "us", "our"), and of the website at pinadslab.com. By using the Application you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The Application is an operations tool used by PinAds Lab to manage Pinterest advertising on behalf of clients who have engaged our services. It reads and manages campaign, catalog and content data for Pinterest accounts whose owners have authorised our access, and produces performance reporting from that data.
2. Eligibility and authorisation
Use of the Application requires an active Pinterest business account. Access to any Pinterest account is obtained only through Pinterest's OAuth authorisation flow, performed by the account owner. You represent that you are authorised to grant the permissions you grant, and that you will not connect an account you do not own or administer.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Application to:
- publish spam, deceptive, misleading or repetitive content;
- violate the Pinterest Community Guidelines, Advertising Guidelines, Developer Guidelines or Terms of Service;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person;
- attempt to circumvent Pinterest API rate limits or access controls;
- reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the Application;
- use the Application for any unlawful purpose.
4. Your content
You retain all rights in the images, copy, product data and other content you provide or that we publish on your behalf. You grant us a limited licence to use that content solely to operate the Application and deliver the services you have engaged us for. You are responsible for ensuring you hold the rights necessary for that content to be published.
5. Pinterest as a third party
The Application depends on the Pinterest API. Pinterest is not a party to these Terms and provides no warranty in relation to the Application. Pinterest may change, restrict or withdraw API access at any time, and such changes may affect or interrupt the Application. Your use of Pinterest itself remains governed by your agreement with Pinterest.
6. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Application available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend access for maintenance, security or legal reasons, and will give reasonable notice where practicable.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time and may revoke its access to your Pinterest account from your Pinterest account settings. We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where required by Pinterest or by law, or where continued access presents a security risk. On termination we cease API access and delete stored authorisation tokens as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant any particular advertising outcome, return on ad spend or campaign result.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PinAds Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Application. Our total aggregate liability arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid to us for the service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PinAds Lab against any claim arising from your content, your use of the Application, or your breach of these Terms or of any Pinterest policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Application after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
